Swiss style cookies, originally named BATONNETS AUX NOIX. “Batonnet” means a “baton” in French and small bar-shaped confectionery is sometimes referred to as “BATONNET.” With the roasted chopped walnuts in the dough, the cookies are crispy with a rich walnut flavor.
