In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg and blend well. (Photo #1)
Fold in sifted dry ingredients and blend. (Photo #2)
Fill a thick plastic bag or a pastry bag with the dough. Pipe the dough into 5cm X 1cm bars onto a baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (320 °F) for about 15 minutes until brown. (Photo #3)
