In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. 
 
  
Melt chocolate over low heat. Stir in the melted chocolate to the butter mixture. (Photo #1)
 
  
Mix in beaten egg yolk, flour and cocoa powder, in that order, and blend well. (Photo #2)
 
  
Pull the dough together into a ball. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough about 5mm thick.
 
  
Cut out the dough with small heart-shaped cookie cutter. (Photo #3)
 
  
Place the cookies on a foil-lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (320 °F) for about 10 minutes until brown. (Photo #4)
 
  
When cooled, sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar generously.
