Add sugar to butter and cream together.

Add beaten egg yolk. Beat well until it emulsifies. (Photo #1)

Mix in sifted flour/cocoa powder mixture. (Photo #2)

Roll the dough, between the palms of your hands, into 5mm round and 10cm long pieces.

Join the ends of each piece to make a small ring. (Photo #3)

Bake in a preheated toaster oven at 160 °C (320 °F) for about 10 minutes. If the surface turns brown but the center is still not done, cover with foil and continue baking.
