Sift together flour and almond powder.
Cream together butter and sugar. Blend well. (Photo #1)
Stir in beaten eggs, 1/3 at a time, and blend well.
Add the sifted flour mixture and blend. (Photo #2)
Add rum and mix until well combined.
Fill cake cups up to 4/5 of the depth with the dough, then place a little jam on top. (Photo #3)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for about 15 to 18 minutes until golden. (Photo #4)
