Swiss style piped cookies. “Rosace” means “rose window” in French. Use a star tip and pipe the dough into small rose shapes.

In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. (Photo #1)

Add egg white and blend well.

Mix in the sifted dry ingredients. The dough should be soft enough to pipe. (Photo #2)

Place the dough in a pastry bag with a star tip. Pipe the dough into small rose shapes on a paper-lined baking tray. (Photo #3)

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (365 °F) for 10 - 12 minutes until golden. (Photo #4)
