Swiss style bread made with a tight dough and a generous amount of dried fruit and walnut filling. You can use any kinds of nuts or dried fruit that you like.

Lightly roast walnuts in the oven or frying pan and chop them roughly. Also, chop orange peel roughly.

Soak yeast in 20cc of water. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.

Combine flours, yeast, the rest of the water (60cc), salt and sugar in a bowl. Blend well. (Photo #1)

Let the dough rise to double the size (about an hour) in a warm place for its first rise. (Photo #2)

Fill molds halfway with the dough. Place walnuts, jam and orange peel, in that order, then pour in the dough again up to the rim. (Photo #3)

Let the dough rise for about an hour in a warm place for its second rise.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for 20 minutes until brown.
