Belgian style chocolate cake, very ¡Èchocolate¡É with chocolate and cocoa powder. Use whole eggs and beat them until creamy.

Melt chopped chocolate over low heat or by double boiling.

Sift together flour and cocoa powder.

Add half of the sugar to whole eggs and beat until thick and creamy. (Photo #1)

Add the other half of the sugar to butter and cream together.

Stir in the melted chocolate to the butter mixture and blend. (Photo #2)

Pour the egg mixture into the butter mixture and mix lightly.

Add the sifted dry ingredients and blend well. (Photo #3)

Transfer the batter into small loaf molds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ¡ëC (356 ¡ëF) for about 15 minutes. If desired, decorate with confectioners¡Ç sugar after cooling. (Photo #4)
