Belgian style piped chocolate cookies. If a plastic or pastry bag is not available, you can shape the dough onto a baking tray with a spoon. If the dough is too stiff, add a little milk to soften.

Sift together flour and cocoa powder.

Cream together butter and sugar. Blend well.

Stir in milk to the butter mixture and mix until well combined. (Photo #1)

Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and blend well. If the dough is too stiff to pipe, add a little milk to soften. (Photo #2)

Fill a thick plastic bag with the dough. Cut out one of the bottom corners of the bag (1cm) and pipe the dough into small rings (5cm in diameter) onto a baking tray. (Photo #3)

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for about 10 minutes.

After cooling, sprinkle with cocoa powder. (Photo #4)
